Announcing Creators Contest!
We are happy to announce Somnium Space Creators Contest!
Recently we have been adding a lot of amazing features to our world Builder such as 360° portals, advanced web browser support, Visual Scripting, animated and transparent GIFs support, audio and video live-streams and much more!
All those features allow our community to make impressive creations inside Somnium VR world. And now it is time to let our best creators show what they are capable of!
Introducing CREATORS CONTEST! It will be running starting from today — 3rd of August until 17th of August. We have prepared more than 3500$ worth of prizes in Somnium Space Cubes and Ethereum currencies!
Here are some rules to follow in order to qualify:
- You can use any parcel size to build on (S,M,XL).
- You build has to be uploaded into Somnium world latest until 17th of August 22:00 CET.
- You have to tweet video or pictures of your contest entry latest until 17th of August 23:59 CET.
- Tweet has to contain pictures or video (e.g. video tour) of your creation alongside these hashtags: #SomniumCreators #SomniumSpaceVR #CreatorsContest #SocialVR #blockchain
- Test parcels CAN NOT be used as a contest entry.
- Visual Scripting and Web browser integration have to be present inside a contest entry.
In order to maximize your chance of winning a prize we suggest to create themed builds with a seamless integration of several technologies our Builder provides. Builds which will be functional and beautiful will have a bigger chance to win. Interactability is a big bonus too. Allowing users “to do” something interesting and useful inside your creation will be a big bonus as well. Great audio visual experience is a plus. Last but not least is the way you present your contest entry in a Tweet. Great and beautifully shot videos are welcomed (Tip: use our VR tablet camera)! Based on all those factors above and number of views, likes comments and general engagement we will choose best 6 Tweet entries which will then go to finals and will be voted by our Somnium Community + internal panel of judges to final TOP 3 winners of a contest.
Each of best 6 finalist entries will be toured and live-streamed by Somnium team on our official social media channels before the final community votes will be cast.
