Somnium Space leads a 4M$ Series A round at Lynx.
Artur Sychov joins the board of directors of the company.
The funding round was led by Somnium Space and followed by early supporters of Lynx, with participation of other investors involved in the AR/VR field such as ex-Meta and Google engineers.
Lynx created a Mixed Reality headset featuring all the bells and whistles you expect from state of the art Metaverse hardware including large field of view, spatial audio, hand-tracking, high quality 6DoF and color pass-through for Augmented and Virtual Reality applications, built on top of Qualcomm XR2 technology.

In the last 12 months, Lynx achieved significant milestones including:
- Finalized the design of Lynx R-1, the first standalone Mixed Reality headset, directly competing with AR/VR products coming from biggest US and Chinese Big Tech companies.
- Completed a successful and highly anticipated Kickstarter campaign in November 2021
- Completed office expansion in Paris, now at more 200 square meters of R&D and established a new office in Taiwan.
- Developed key partnerships with suppliers and distributors worldwide for the upcoming launch and deliveries of Lynx R-1.
